Gabriele, this photos remind me so well of my childhood, it's incredible! Romania used to look the same in the '90s. Those stalls with everything from toilet paper to coffee, cigarettes, bananas... my god.. they were everywhere here...at the corner of the street..I remember staying in line with my mother at one of those stalls, where I lived in Targu Mures. Now, on the same place, there is a newspaper kiosk and the guy that used to own the stall deals with car-business.
